Introduction
First, the raw material of prestressed plastic corrugated pipe is HDPE. Its corrosion resistance is far better than that of metal, not afraid of acid and alkali corrosion, it does not corrode itself, and can effectively protect prestressed tendons from corrosion. Many prestressed structures are subjected to severe external influences such as deicing salt or salt water. When the post-tensioned member is due to the collapse of the waterproof layer, micro-crack leakage and the blockage or failure of the drainage facilities, the prestressed tendons may be subjected to corrosion. The prestressed plastic bellows can provide a barrier protection for the prestressed tendons, which is much better than the metal bellows, and can prevent the pollution of harmful substances through the pipeline, so as to ensure the better durability of the post-tensified prestressed structures.
Second, under the same conditions, the friction coefficient of the pre-stressed plastic wave tube is significantly smaller than that of the metal bellows, which reduces the friction loss of the prestressed metal during the tensioning process. In general, the friction coefficient of plastic bellows is 0.14, and the friction coefficient of metal bellows is 0.25. The strength of prestressed plastic bellows is high, not afraid of trampling, not easy to be broken by vibration, its sealing performance and leakage resistance are higher than metal bellows, and it is more suitable for vacuum grouting;
Third, the plastic bellows used in prestressed concrete are not conductive, which can prevent stray current corrosion, and metal is a good conductor of electricity;
Fourth, the plastic bellows for prestressed concrete have better labor resistance, which can greatly improve the fatigue resistance of the components.
